Qigong (Chi Kung) is a very old method of increasing physical, energetic and mental strength. In 1973 Qigong was recognized as science in China, and already in 1983 was qigong introduced at most faculties.

There are several different types of Qigong with different objects and content.
Qigong exercises provide power through a combination of breathing, movement and posture. It is known that only by changing the breathing can affect much in the body, including blood circulation. Movements and thoughts are closely linked in Qigong training.

The word Qigong is composed of two Chinese characters: "Qi" and "gong". The character "Qi" means life energy, while "Gong" stands for an extraordinary achievement. The term and its content is based on the notion that the whole of nature and the universe is permeated by energy, and that we ourselves are composed of and works thanks to this life energy. In good health floats "qi" and freely circulating in special channels (meridians) in your body, and in this way provides for the all organs, tissues and veins with new force.

To exercise Qigong involves creating conditions that qi can circulate in the body. We can not see "qi", and that is probably why we in the West find it difficult to imagine what "qi" is and puts question its existence. To take an illustrative example, we can not see the electricity that exists in our lines, even though we notice its effects. When power is lost, the result is obvious! The effects of "qi" is equally clear, and we can easily detect them only through look about us in nature.

We offer Bodhidharma Qigong, a more energetic form of Qigong. We use power, soft, slow and fast exercises for better development of inner strength.
